We got new phones! They're touch screens! You should have seen us this weekend. Seriously. We played with them for two. days. straight. No lie. We were almost content to sit next to each other on the couch web-surfing, picture-taking, and video-texting on our new phones. I even texted Paul when he was getting into the shower, and I didn't feel like making the two-room trek...I know, I know, and I wonder how I've gained 20 pounds. But without further adieu:

To top off the arrival of our toys, we house-sat for a couple from our church. They have a new puppy:
and no one was more excited than Paul to play with her...
Apparently waiting for Paul to get out of the shower was just too much...
They did, in fact, have other animals. A sweet, sweet dog whose only wish was to get away from the puppy's constant antics:
And some cats, of which we only saw one the whole time we were there:

Me? Let's just say after an initial nameless incident, Jenn's shoes were zipped up into the suitcase for the remainder of our stay (all 8 pairs).

Also, it should be noted that yesterday on my way into my empty house, I saw a ragged cat that, I swear, looked like a rabid monkey from my car...and I am not even kidding.
